I actually had to deal with 'loss' and move on with my life without the people or experiences I once thought were meant for me.
I spent time alone, and it turned out to be the best thing that ever happened to me. That’s what happens when you embark on the journey of consciously creating a different future for yourself — you have to be able to sit with the silence between the old and the new.
But that’s totally okay, because you know that's exactly what is supposed to happen and everything is moving and shifting behind the curtain.
Thank you Nyssa, love this answer. I've had to do this a few times too. And the crazy part is, that it seems we need to do this often, actually. For those of us who are driven to live life intentionally, there are always stages that require us to let go. Are you also experiencing it similarly?
Absolutely, change is a never-ending game. If we want real and profound change, we must be willing to let go of everything and everyone who is (un)consciously unwilling to follow us.
Most people prefer to stay the same to preserve their old relationships, but that’s the opposite of what we should do when we embark on this journey.
On point! It’s quite strange how much of our identity is just a collection of stories we keep telling ourselves, not because they’re true, but because they’re familiar. The hardest part of change isn’t actually changing, it’s realizing that you’re the one keeping the old version of yourself alive. Once you stop telling the same story again and again, there’s nothing really stopping you from writing not only a new one but an epic one too.
Oooh, well said, Ameen! I don't about you, but I'm really loving the silence between the old and the new. Whatever goes - let it; it's the only way to level up. Thank you for saying that! :)
Thank you
I am curious, how did you navigate relationships and life in general, as you transitioned into this new view of reality?
I love that question.
