I read something interesting… on why some people push meaninglessness. It went something like this:

If they stopped scrambling, stopped distracting themselves, stopped pretending everything was random, they would have to face something real. Maybe they would have to face that they had wasted years fighting against reality, that they were wrong about something fundamental, and or that they are not as in control as they would like to believe. For many, it's easier to keep kicking the leaves than to face what happens when they stop. Meaninglessness justifies the worst things. If nothing matters, then anything is permissible. Suffering is irrelevant, morality is an illusion, and power is the only real currency. This is the foundation of every truly destructive ideology, because if there is no inherent meaning to life, then human beings are just objects, and power is the only thing that matters.

I hear you. I think the concept of reality as we know it will always be incomprehensible. If you're interested, I watched something on the topic and it blew my mind:

Thank you for reading, my friend! The journey that we're on is worth the mindboggling questions. :)

‘We’ve been playing the game of reality backward. The Universe’s job is to give you more of what you already have - it will never give you what you want, lack, or cry about. So how can you have something before actually getting it?’

this line is fire! simple heuristic but such a powerful one, i’ve experienced this in my life with everything from fitness, relationships to money.

Great post. Don‘t feel like everything‘s the same for me. Like what emotion do I want if what I desire is revenge in itself? I’ve never even tasted it… so do I desire an emotion I‘ve never tasted then?

Yes, that's correct. :)

You are able to generate an emotion before an event occurs just by thought alone. But why waste your energy on anything that won't make your heart open, like revenge?

Can‘t revenge open one’s heart? 🤣 I bloom in conflict :) Really enjoy it when I can fully let loose and go of all control. And everything I experience points me into this direction.

My poetry which is literally writing itself before my own eyes - without me putting in a single thought - tells me this. It’s only the way I see revenge as something negative that keeps me from fully following this „pull“.
