If you can’t help but take things personally, this one’s for you.
I met my ex the other day. It was so, so goddamn easy to trigger the same emotions from the past, and all the memories to rush back in. The guilt, the blame, the hurt, the dreams that didn’t come true (thank god), and to try and figure out if there’s still something ‘there’.
I used to do this – all of that and then some – years ago.
It was ugly, exhausting, disturbing, painful, and pointless.
I knew the only way to see how far I’ve come is to act, think, feel, express myself differently in the same environment. Dispenza was whispering in the back of my mind but it was so loud at the same time. You know, laugh in the same places you used to cry or however the saying goes.
Pretty fucked up, right?
No, actually.
Then I thought, wait, I’m only going to experience myself through her.
And I did.
And it was beautiful.
Because I’m no longer that person.
The unfortunate human tendency to prove our love, fight for relationships, but never for the one with ourselves
You’re only trying to prove your worth to yourself through those around you.
Every acquaintance, every relationship is a mirror. If you want to understand and know yourself better, look at how people are treating you because that is how you perceive yourself. Of course, not everything is a result of your consciousness – sometimes people are assholes or cool dudes and none of both have anything to do with you.
But 99.9999999% of what you experience in your life is your own cooking.
That doesn’t mean you should try your best to keep people in your life. We are taught to measure our worthiness by how much love we have in our lives. And that is without ever understanding what love really is.
“Am I lovable?” is the toughest, most fucked up and painful question you could hear from someone or ask yourself.
You need some hardcore letting go if this question ever came to mind.
You’re wasting your metaphysical powers on the wrong stuff – let that shit go
If you want something new, you have to focus on something new.
The things you can do with your life are indescribable. With your finances, with intimacy, with your health, with the mystical, with your own divinity. But if you keep wasting all of that energy only on what you experienced before, trying to make it better somehow only so it stays in your life – you are wasting the power that's been given to you.
Let that shit go.
You’d be filled with so much love and appreciation that your past happened the way it did. You’d never be here without going through everything you went through. Would you rather have gone through all of that and evolved so miraculously or stayed the same – small-minded, unchanged, inexperienced, placing your worth in the hands of the outside world?
I know…
It takes one to know one.
I see you.
How is this messing up your desired future?
Simple – it never happens.
But here’s the thing: people don’t know what they want – they think they know. And every temporary desire you have always takes up space in your mind, feelings, biology, energy field, and consciousness. It’s in our nature to go after what we want whether it’s from a place of desperation, fear, and scarcity, or a place of security, connectedness, and trust.
So it’s damn important you get honest with yourself about what you want and don’t want.
Do you really want this person or you’re just too addicted to proving your worth to the world? This isn’t about relationships. I’m using this example because other people are the only way to see how much we’ve evolved or not.
Let that shit go.
I’m sharing all of this to show you that no matter the changes you go through or how much you grow, the same old factors will forever be here, on the outside.
But it’s your job to transform the patterns.
Whether it’s your mother, your ex, your current partner, seeing the boss that fired you 10 years ago and still holding on to that grudge. You have to know how to transmute energy from reacting to creating.
Because you’re divinity itself – use that.
As always, keep creating.

This! Spoke my mind! About responding and the growth Therein- I think Victor Frankl summed it perfectly
Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom

I'm keeping that one... thank you : )
